A collaborative arts experience in Textile Dyeing and Drumming.  Discover the beauty and magic of indigo dyeing with a take-home project, and connect those patterns to the patterns in drumming. Drums provided, other materials provided. No experience necessary!

A collaborative arts experience in Yoga and Drumming, designed to strengthen your body, free your mind and inspire your soul! Facilitated by Kathy Armstrong and Victoria Lynes. See how the patterns in drumming and yoga connect in this exciting integrated workshop! Drums provided, please bring a yoga mat. No experience necessary!

For this workshop, Pulse! welcomes certified Kundalini Yoga instructor Victoria Lynes, whose passion for yoga shines through in all her classes for adults and children. Pulse! Rhythm & Wellness Launch

Hosted in partnership with Baobab Community and Sandy Hill Community Health Centre, this interactive evening includes:  a brief hands-on drumming workshop, presentation of recent research “Drumming Up Health” by Kathy Armstrong, panel discussion and Q&A with guest speakers from arts, education, healthcare, and community development, including special guest Mama Adzorhlor III, Queen Mother from the village of Dagbamete, Ghana; performances by the Baobab Youth Performers, and a reception.
